A Profile of Clear Marketing's Managing Director
From Kitchen Devils Knives and Lloyds TSB Home Insurance to Tetra Pak Milk Cartons, Rachael Rees-Jones has established an award winning, proven track record of success in marketing and business development since 1994.
In 2006, Rachael founded Clear Marketing Ltd, a South Wales-based marketing consultancy. Her vision was to make the benefits of Marketing and Business Development more assessable to SME's, by eliminating the technical and flowery language that some marketeers tend to favour, using appropriate controls and measurements to ensure marketing activities genuinely add value to businesses; and by encouraging businesses themselves to think about their objectives before acting.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Rachael provides practical and hands-on expertise, which is supported by a professional and academic foundation. Rachael has worked her way up through the ranks; from being Wilkinson Sword Student of the Year in 1994, she started her career as a Marketing Assistant and over a 15 year period, became an award winning Marketing and Business Development Director, before choosing to start her own business.
Rachael has worked in both the 'business to customer', and 'business to business' sectors. She has direct experience of working within the Manufacturing, Food, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Financial Services and Professional Services sectors.
Rachael has extensive skills, knowledge and hands on experience of all aspects of the marketing and business development function, incorporating everything from strategy and business planning to market research and analysis, and from product management, event management and new business development to hands on services such as design and print.
